How do I know this program is needed?
Pacific County is challenged with dwindling resources and growing poverty, creating critical hardship for area youth:

- WA State Family Council research assigned Pacific County a ranking of SEVERE as the state’s highest risk for children and youth.
- Pacific County ranks two times the state average for instances of child abuse and neglect.
- The Healthy Youth Survey show portions of Pacific County have twice the state average of hospitalized domestic violence victims, exceptionally high infant mortality rates, very high drug/alcohol use, suicide ideation, school apathy and overweight teens.
